Accessibility & Language Access

Language access: Carinthia has a Slovene-speaking minority. The K-LVG provides for Slovene minority language rights. Landtag sessions conducted in German; Slovene co-official in certain mixed districts but not at Landtag level.

Notes

Carinthia borders Slovenia and Italy. The K-LTGO distinguishes three session types (§ 43): öffentlich (public), nichtöffentlich (non-public, gallery excluded), and vertraulich (confidential, members-only).
