Notes

Vienna is unique: it is simultaneously a Bundesland and a Gemeinde. The Gemeinderat constitutionally also functions as the Landtag. The GO-Landtag Wien (2001) governs the Landtag-capacity sessions; the GO-Gemeinderat governs the Gemeinderat-capacity sessions. These are distinct laws with separate gesetzesnummern. The Wiener Stadtverfassung (WStV, 1968) is the primary constitutional foundation, predating all other Land Verfassungen in its current form.
