Notes

Dominican Republic's Ley 176-07 governs the Distrito Nacional (Santo Domingo) and the country's 158 municipios plus municipal districts. Art. 62 establishes that sessions of the Concejo Municipal are public; closed sessions are limited to statutorily defined categories. The 2004 Ley General de Libre Acceso a la Información Pública (Ley 200-04) covers meeting records.
