Notes

Moldova's Law 436-XVI/2006 on Local Public Administration governs the country's primării (level 1) and raioane (level 2) units. Art. 17 establishes that ședințele consiliului local (local council sessions) are public. The mayor convenes sessions with at least 5 days' notice (3 days for extraordinary sessions), publishing the agenda on the municipal website. The State Chancellery and territorial offices of the Government Apparatus exercise legality control (control administrativ).
