Summary
The Procuradoria Militar is the branch of Angola's Attorney General's Office (PGR) charged with controlling and overseeing legality within the National Police and Internal Security Bodies (Lei n.º 22/12, Art. 189(3) Constitution). It does not impose discipline independently but receives disciplinary referrals from police internal affairs when offences also constitute crimes (Decree 38/14, Art. 8), and can prosecute police officers before military courts. Structurally subordinate to the PGR; not an independent civilian body.
