Summary
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is established under the Organic Act on Anti-Corruption B.E. 2561 (2018) and Sections 234-235 of the Constitution of Thailand (2017). Nine commissioners are selected by a Selection Committee and appointed by the King on Senate recommendation for a single non-renewable 9-year term; removal requires Senate address. The NACC investigates unusual wealth, corruption, and serious malfeasance by political office holders and government officials. The NACC has full access to all relevant records and may summon persons and documents. Cases are submitted to the Supreme Court or the Anti-Corruption Litigation Division of the Administrative Court. Annual reports are submitted to Parliament.

Jurisdiction scope
All holders of political positions, government officials, and local government officials; investigates unusual wealth, malfeasance, and corruption offences; submits cases to the Supreme Court (Criminal Division for Persons Holding Political Positions) or disciplinary tribunals.
