Summary

The Instance Nationale de Lutte Contre la Corruption (INLUCC — National Anti-Corruption Authority) was established by Decree-Law No. 2011-120 of 14 November 2011 as part of Tunisia's post-revolution governance reform. It was given constitutional status under Article 130 of the 2014 Constitution. Under Tunisia's 2022 Constitution (adopted under President Saied), INLUCC continues to operate under its founding decree. Members are appointed through a mixed process involving parliamentary and executive nominations for six-year terms. INLUCC receives corruption complaints from citizens and public entities, investigates administrative corruption, and refers criminal matters to the Public Prosecution. It publishes annual reports on Tunisia's corruption landscape and manages the asset declaration system for senior officials. INLUCC is Tunisia's UNCAC national body (Tunisia ratified UNCAC in 2008).
