Corruption Prevention Commission of the Republic of Armenia
CPC
Summary
The Corruption Prevention Commission (CPC), established in 2017 and operational since November 2020 following election of its members by the National Assembly, is Armenia's primary preventive anti-corruption body. It verifies asset and interest declarations of public officials — including police and penitentiary staff — monitors political party financing, and since 2024 conducts integrity checks on judges, prosecutors, and investigators. It has full access to protected state databases. The CPC is not an investigative body; it refers violations to the ACC or prosecutors. Its members are elected by the National Assembly from candidates nominated through a competitive process involving the Government, parliamentary factions, and the Supreme Judicial Council.
