Summary

The Saskatchewan Ombudsman is appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Legislative Assembly. The Ombudsman investigates complaints from members of the public about administrative actions of provincial government departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and local authorities. The office has full investigative powers including the ability to examine witnesses and compel production of documents.
