Summary

The Komisija za kontrolu izvršenja krivičnih sankcija (Parliamentary Commission for Control of Enforcement of Criminal Sanctions) is a standing committee of Serbia's National Assembly. Established under the Law on Execution of Penal Sanctions (Official Gazette RS 55/2014) and the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, it visits penitentiaries, remand prisons, and juvenile correctional facilities, reviews living conditions and rights of detainees, and submits an annual report to the National Assembly. Its findings are advisory only; it has no subpoena power and cannot compel testimony. Composition is all-parliamentarian (civilian) elected by the National Assembly.
